Edison’s High School program is designed based on the keyword “TO BE READY” because we believe that after graduating from high school, students will have the necessary knowledge and skills to move forward in the different education environments.
To accompany students and parents on this decisive level, Edison’s High School designs a study program to build students’ confidence, necessary skills, and high adaptability, creative thinking, and entrepreneurship through a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities. After graduating from Edison’s High School, students can be ready for many choices: study abroad, study at foreign universities in Vietnam or domestic universities, etc.
To support students and parents in the orientation and career choice process as well as the learning environment after high school, our prestigious expert team will provide career counselling, psychological counselling, study abroad advice, etc. for students and parents since students start entering the high school program.
EDUCATION METHOD
In Edison, we focus on creating a comprehensive educational environment, where every student can develop constitution, cognizance, intellect, and emotion. Edison students’ generations will become confident, motivated, and knowledgeable young people, ready to adapt to life’s changes.
Edison High School is currently implementing two training systems, Standard English Program and American Bilingual Program, to meet the varied needs and orientations of each family.
| NATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAM |
- The Vietnamese program is built on the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training, which ensures knowledge and skills standards. The program is also optimized and updated to best implement the educational goals.
- Subjects’ content is restructured by special subjects, spending 15-20% of the total teaching time on practical applications and projects on the basis of advanced, specific, and suitable condition of the school.
- Focus on developing dignity – competence of learners.
- Innovate teaching methods, apply positive teaching methods to help students be interested in the subject, linking theory with practice, applying knowledge from real life.
- Innovate testing and evaluating methods through special subjects, big exercises, projects, thereby assessing students’ ability to apply knowledge – skills to solve real situations.
- Strengthen the application of information technology in teaching and learning, students are equipped and trained online learning skills.

| PHYSICAL EDUCATION – ART – SKILLS – TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM |
- Based on the foundation of the National Education Program, the Physical Education, Art (Music, Fine Arts) curriculum is designed to utilize and maximize the efficiency of modern facilities in Edison and taking advantage of Ecopark green space.
- The Life Skills program is built into an individual subject and integrates some content into other subjects to help students equip and practice social communication skills, brainstorming and learning skills, self-mastering skill.
- Starting from secondary level, the Life Skills program is designed according to topics such as gender education, mental & physical health care skills, study skills, self-awareness skills, skills to build relationships.
- At the same time, also from secondary school level and keep maintaining to high school, with diverse forms of learning and activities, students will form and develop skills such as problems solving, organizational and time management skills.; Teamwork and collaborative skills; Leadership and decision-making skills, presentation skills, communication skills, adaptive skills, career self-directed skills, etc. But most importantly, every Edison student will be encouraged to develop lifelong learning skills in different settings. Computer Science program helps students to develop thinking and competencies in computers, information, technology. The program is age-appropriate with all suitable equipment in the 4.0 era.
- The Information Technology & Computer Science program is designed specifically for Edison students, help them to develop thinking and competency in computers and information technology, applied in all fields, especially in the era of Technology Revolution 4.0, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (AI & IoT). At the same time, this is also a career-oriented opportunity for students.

- Students receive orientation counselling to develop a career and study pathway with overseas study consultants, career counsellors, and domestic study counsellors. At the same time, students also get direct advice from teachers after regular exams and mock exams.

- Intensive English program including the subjects ENL (English as a Native Language), Math, Science built based on the framework of the American High School program (Common Core).
- The program is taught entirely in English, with a duration of 16 lessons/week, account for 63% of the time with foreign teachers.
- Towards the goal of language competence to succeed in studying at International Universities.
- Participate in the International English certification exams such as Cambridge English, TOEFL / IELTS and academic standardized tests such as PSAT, SAT, etc.

The team of young, energetic, passionate and self-motivated teachers always self-study to improve professional and pedagogical skills. The teachers always apply information technology in teaching as well as daily tasks effectively.
100% of teachers graduated from pedagogy universities, most of them have completed postgraduate studies.
100% of teachers have worked in educational institutions for at least 1 year, many teachers have experienced in university entrance exam preparation for all subjects.
Training and fostering courses are organized regularly, continuously, throughout the school year and synchronize in the following areas: Specialty; Homeroom work; Information Technology.
The teachers are trained well, the training courses have a clear roadmap and post-training evaluation is carried out by leading experts in teaching methods, psychologists, and life skills who are invited from the Pedagogical University, Institute of Psychology, etc. Besides, our school pays special attention to internal training. The seminars are organized by the Board of Directors, the leaders, the heads of the group, attaching to the sharing of practical experiences, handling situations, etc.
