Overview of primary school
Primary school is the starting level of the General Education program, building the first pillars of the framework of competences, qualities and knowledge for students during 12 years of school. That is why Edison Schools has built an educational program with two systems including the STANDARD PROGRAM & THE AMERICAN BILINGUAL PROGRAM with diverse components, aiming at bringing students comprehensive development; i.e., students are cared for and taught to grow both physically and mentally, to have healthy living and studying routines. Overview of Secondary School
If education is like the process of cultivating a tree, then for each young tree, the first 5 years of life is the time when the tree germinates, takes root, and clings deeply to mother earth to survive and grow. In the next 4 years, the tree will have to absorb enough nutrients so that the trunk becomes taller and stronger, and the branches and leaves grow higher and wider. This is the period of outstanding growth of the tree. The same is true for students in their 4 years of secondary education. This is the period when children grow physically, mentally, intellectually, and emotionally.
