Imagine Cup Junior – A Competition among future owner of AI

Imagine Cup Junior (ICJ) is organized by Microsoft globally to encourage the young using AI as a support to cope with complex problems of mankind. By such competition, ICJ brings inspiration of provoking ideas and solutions to daily matters by using technologies as well as to enhance technological skills and 21st century skills among middle shool students (from 5 to 18 years old)
The launching ceremony of ICJ in Vietnam was organized virtually with many venues nationwide. At Edison Schools, teachers and students listned sharings from international experts.

“Our mission is to give people the tools to succeed,” said Mr. Jeff Johnson, Executive Sales Director of Microsoft’s global Public Sector Education group. “This competition fits perfectly with this mission. We want candidates to learn about technology and artificial intelligence to be able to come up with ideas to solve problems such as health, society, business, education and more… Vietnam has won two contest awards in 2022 and 2023, we hope that young people will do even better in this year’s contest.”

At the launching ceremony, Ms. Le Tue Minh – Chairwoman of the School Council also strongly shared the Edison School System’s perspective on technology education, pledging to accompany and support students in competitions such as Editech, Imagine Cup Junior for the students to show off their talent, intelligence and passion for creating technology.

One of the most interesting things is that by participating in the contest, students will receive materials and access to artificial intelligence learning resources from Microsoft Education globally. Right at the launching ceremony, with the Copilot application, the students experienced and created AI design products about their dream school, house, sport, etc.
